S2E9
Unpacking the sexual abuse culture of Jamaica. Sharing her experience with sexual harassment, sharing signs of sexual harassment, defining sexual abuse, empowering us with the knowledge we need in order to stand up for ourselves, and help to keep others safe. Natasha taught us the importance of developing a voice for ourselves, and reminded us just how powerful it can be. Educating young men, and women too, that the norm of Jamaica's society can actually lead you to being penalised by the justice system.
This episode is PACKED with juice and its an amazing way to end the season! Natasha, a Social Worker in training, shared her traumatic experience with sexual abuse, and left us feeling much more empowered than we were before listening to this episode.
